RS Guitarworks got together with Marty, Cousin Kenny Vaughan and Chris Scruggs to create a series of instruments that meets Marty and the Fabulous Superlatives’ desire for classic feel, tone and build quality.

The RS Superlative KV guitar has a one piece maple neck with dimensions taken directly from Marty’s favorite Tele, ‘Clarence’ (the late Clarence White’s bender-modified 1954 Esquire). A lightweight pine body with a silver sparkle or blue sparkle nitrocellulose finish makes the RS Guitarworks Superlative a picker’s dream. Lindy Fralin custom-wound SuperlaTone pickups and world-renowned RS Guitarworks electronics round out this amazing guitar.

The RS Superlative guitars and basses were used extensively on Marty and the Fabulous Superlatives’ new album, Nashville, Volume 1: Tear The Woodpile Down (2012, Sugar Hill Records).
